

Cultural History
The foundation of who and where we are today, our culture and history is as much a part of us as the blood in our veins. This workshop will focus on a comprehensive teaching of Native-American culture and history. Through oral teaching traditions and modern technology these teachings, almost extinct to the modern world will be available for the community to learn. All ages welcome.

Storytelling
Seminars will offer 4 hours of daily interaction, training, and skill development, focused on self-reflection, creative inquiry, interpretation, perspective, visual writing, and moral conduct.
The primary goals of the program are to introduce storytelling, creative writing pedagogy, and enhance reading and writing competencies as well as increase test scores.

Emotional Intelligence Series
A series of experiential workshops that celebrate ancient ways to achieve wisdom and compassion that will inspire the individual to deepen understanding into the beliefs and culture that influence them today.

Wampum
The ancient and modern practices of wampum making techniques will be shared in this cultural arts workshop. Participating in the creative art of wampum making connects the cultural significance and historical value of wampum, and its impact in the world today. All ages welcome

Native Design
A collective group of First Nations artists will reveal what it takes to make it in Textile industry. Students will learn bead work and Native print design.

History of the Midewiwin
The Midewiwin is a religious society made up of spiritual advisors and healers, known as the Mide. The Mide serve as spiritual leaders for the general populace. They perform religious ceremonies, study and practise sacred healing methods, and strive to maintain a respectful relationship between humanity and Mother Earth.

Medicinal & Edible Indigenous Plants
Restore natural gardens throughout the Native community of the indigenous plants generations of elders have used for medicine and food. Participants will learn how to maintain a garden for their families and community, and harvest together and receive instructions how to process various indigenous plants and especially best practices to preserve them for future generations

Canoe Culture
Since the beginning, the daily lives of the Native-American revolved around the land and the waters surrounding it. Workshops will take place at the coastline where ancestors hunted great whales and paddled canoes. The canoe workshop will serve as an opportunity to experience cultural and practical uses of the canoe

Angels and Sasquatch Visions
Elders from the haunted Ahousaht Mountain will share their tales of the spiritual realm. Elders will teach Anthropomorphism co-blended with spiritual practices of Dr. John Chapman.

Spiritual Development
As a follower of the teachings of the theologian Emanuel Swedenborg, he believed that suffering in this life would lead to happiness in the here after, and therefore he is said to have traveled barefoot, as a humble pilgrim, befriending Native American tribes, protecting nature, and cultivating the land.

Pathways to College
Seminar program catering to 16 - 18 yr. old university-bound students who wish to study in the USA. Upon successful completion, all participants in good standing will receive a certificate of completion along with 2 letters of recommendation for university applications and admission from their Ivy League educated instructors. Cultural exchange between School Without Walls, Ahousaht, Shinnecock and Nanticoke First Nation Youth.

Inter-Tribal Youth Exchange
4 Directions with its trainers, youth guides, and mentors will offer regional youth leadership development trainings and consecutive workshops that will enable Native & Inner-city youth, and their adult advisors, to develop and carry out projects, programs, education, awareness campaigns, and other efforts within their communities.

College & Career Planning
4Directions program will work with student to research higher education programs available, build a plan to apply, evaluate financial options, assist in completing FAFSA, provide essay writing workshop, and create a digital application portfolio with story mapping. Professors will discuss entrance testing, provide simulated test practice and follow up to build portfolio complete with setting up calendar of deadlines and meetings with professors.
